The article in the NY Times by MARIA KONNIKOVA, entitled, No Money, No Time, causes me to wonder how time scarcity is affecting our attention to deeper issues.
Harry Rathbun once wrote, "Our problem is ignorance." If we are preoccupied with money, and scarcity, and time, how are we ever going to reverse the ignorance and turn it into love?
And, where will we find the "time" for meaningful conversations, on the deeper issues of identity, worldview, relationship and culture.
Who has the time to talk about that when tomorrow's mortgage is overdue?
